Flynn Law Firm PLLC · Effective:
What this policy covers
This policy describes how Flynn Law Firm PLLC (“the Firm,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through flynnlaw.net and through inquiries you make to us by form, email, phone, or text before we agree to represent you. It does not govern information you provide once we have agreed to represent you. That is covered by the rules of professional conduct and your engagement agreement, which are considerably stricter.
This policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Disclaimer.
What we collect
Information you submit. If you use the case review form, we receive what you enter into it: your name, phone number and email address, the type of situation you select, your description of what happened, and whether you prefer to be contacted in Spanish. We also receive whatever you send us by email, phone, or text.
Documents. If you send us documents by email, text, mail or in person, such as letters, notices, medical paperwork or court papers, we receive those documents and any personal information in them.
Text message consent. If you tick the box consenting to be contacted by text, we record that consent, your mobile number, and the date you gave it.
Server logs. Like any website, requests to this site may be logged by our hosting provider, including IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time of the request. These logs are used to operate and secure the site.
Cookies and trackers. This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your general location (estimated from your IP address, which Google Analytics does not store), device and browser type, and the pages you visit. You can read how Google uses this information in Google’s Privacy Policy, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site also loads maps from Google, which may receive your IP address. The site does not use advertising cookies. If this changes, this section will change with it.
What we do with it
We use the information and documents you send us to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Run a conflict check before we discuss your matter in detail
- Evaluate whether we can help you
- Keep records required by the rules of professional conduct
- Operate and secure this website
We do not sell your information, rent it, or provide it to marketing companies or lead brokers.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed for the purposes above:
- Service providers who host our website, measure website traffic (Google Analytics), deliver email and text messages, and store our files and case records. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or the rules of professional conduct, or to protect the rights and safety of the Firm or others.
We do not share your information with anyone else without your permission. We use service providers, such as Google for website analytics, that process limited website data on our behalf.
Confidentiality
Submitting the form or sending us documents does not create an attorney-client relationship. The Firm treats information and documents from prospective clients as confidential, as required by the applicable rules of professional conduct.
Until we confirm that we have no conflict of interest and agree in writing to represent you, please limit what you send to the information and documents we request. Sharing information with us does not by itself prevent the Firm from representing another party in the same or a related matter, to the extent permitted by those rules. If a matter is urgent, call (918) 583-0121.
Text messages
If you tick the box consenting to be contacted by text, we may send SMS messages about your requests, such as replies, appointment scheduling, and requests for information or documents. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of contacting us or hiring the Firm.
- Frequency: varies with your inquiry.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call (918) 583-0121.
- No marketing: we do not send marketing texts.
We do not share or sell your mobile number or text consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our messages.
How long we keep it
If we do not take on your matter, we keep the names of the people involved and a brief summary of the request for as long as needed for conflict checking. We delete or return other information and documents within 90 days, unless we must keep them longer by law or professional rules. Server logs are kept for 30 days. If we represent you, your file is kept as described in your engagement agreement.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to inquiries and documents to Firm personnel and service providers who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent over the internet. If you prefer not to send documents online, call us to arrange another way. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
Your choices
You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will honor deletion requests except for records we must keep for conflict checking or by law, and we will tell you if that applies. To make a request, use the contact details below.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a matter involves a minor, a parent or guardian should contact us.

This site may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own, and we are not responsible for them.
